Over three summers I had the immense pleasure to spend just over a month living the life of a Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice at Taliesin West. By day we worked in the design studio and by night we slept in the student-built shelters out in the beautiful Sonoran desert. Time was spent gleaning insights from the architects who had worked with FLW, designing and presenting our own projects, and best of all, exploring every nook and cranny of that magical place. It was life changing.
