Not only did this eye center undergo a complete interior renovation, but a new dramatic front entry was added. The design of new lighting and mechanical systems, along with new "cool" roofing helped qualify this building for energy efficiency tax credits under EPAct 2005. In addition materials that were local, recycled, and had low VOCs were recommended which enhanced the indoor environmental quality and made for an environmentally responsible project.
